Company Background

Kaplan Financial is part of the Kaplan Professional Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Washington Post, which has over forty years financial training experience in the United Kingdom. For many years, Kaplan Financial United Kingdom operated an accredited Conversion Course for the Institute in Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW).

Since 1993, Kaplan Financial has had an increasing presence in the Asia Pacific Region with three established and locally staffed training centres in Hong Kong, Singapore and Shanghai. Kaplan Financial Hong Kong has provided courses since 1997 for the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA/ACCA) joint examination scheme. These courses are available to the general public and the international accounting firms.


Pioneer Institution

Kaplan Financial is offering the conversion program for non-accounting graduates to enable them to progress on to the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) Qualification Programme (QP) examinations.

Since 2000, Kaplan Financial has been operating the Conversion Programme (CP) for non-accounting graduates of KPMG in Hong Kong to prepare them for entry into the Hong Kong accountancy profession. The Programme has achieved Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) accreditation for the past 6 years. Successful students can progress to the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) Qualification Programme (QP).

Accreditation

Kaplan Conversion Programme was assessed and approved by Hong Kong Council of Academic Accreditation (HKCAA) in March 2006 and was accredited by Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) in June 2006.

Kaplan Conversion Programme is registered under the name of 'Kaplan Financial' to offer the Conversion Programme for the Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Qualification Programme (QP) of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA)'.
